A royal palace, various embassies, Kensington Gardens and Royal Albert Hall – the proximity of these prestigious places makes Kensington one of the most desired neighbourhoods in London. For one of those typical white stucco fronted townhouses harryclarkinterior were asked to redesign the interior as well as to apply a completely different design approach to the front and back garden. It was the client’s great wish to integrate their antiques and art collection into the new interior and exterior concept.

harry clark solved that task by creating a harmonious balance between objects of different periods, namely to integrate Georgian and early Victorian art and furniture into a clever and contemporary setting. His instinctive sense of proportion and detail and his attention for colour brought out an elegant, discreet aura for the entire house. Shades of different whites, neutrals, pinks and greys give the art objects of three centuries a digni ed setting – and bestows the entire space a timeless sophisticated appearance.
